Coach Treacy Steps Down After 7 Years Behind the Bench for the Orange

On Wednesday, April 21, Conner Treacy informed the Syracuse Men’s Hockey Club that he has decided to step down as head coach. Coach Treacy has decided it’s best for him to give more time and attention to his wife and two young daughters. Treacy will still be able to exercise his passion and love for hockey as he pursues a youth hockey coaching job in the local Syracuse area.

Conner Treacy served as an assistant coach for the Orange for four seasons before taking over as head coach in 2018, where he led the Orange to their first-ever ESCHL Tournament Championship. The Syracuse Men’s Hockey Club is extremely grateful for the relentless effort Treacy committed to the program throughout his seven years. We wish Treacy and his family all the best and look forward to seeing them in the stands cheering on the Orange in the future.
